PRESENTATION DETAILS
Itafos - A Project Update
Braden Lott, Project Manager, Mining and Reclamation
Itafos’s current focus on mining involves a multitude of people and projects as we transition mining operations into new permitted deposits, reclaim depleted deposits, and look towards exploration activities on proposed future deposits. The Husky 1/North Dry Ridge (H1NDR) mine received its Record of Decision (ROD) in April of 2023 and a notice to proceed in May 2023. As mining currently approaches its end of mine life at Rasmussen Valley in late 2025, ore continuity for the Conda plant relies on new infrastructure to be in place prior to mining and shipping of ore at H1NDR in 2024 and 2025, respectively. Receiving the ROD was a critical milestone for Itafos as the mine planning and timing did not allow for much leniency in the construction schedule for the completion of necessary infrastructure, including haul roads, stockpile pads, loadout facility, shops, laydown yards, Forest Service road realignments, and infrastructure to continue grazing in the surrounding area. The H1NDR mine currently extends Itafos mine life to the end of 2037. Itafos is currently in the planning stages of pursuing opportunities to add additional resources and reserves. Itafos is currently in the process of permitting Mine Plan Modifications as well as an Exploration Drilling EA to construct roads and drill both RC and core holes on adjacent Itafos controlled properties/leases. The Rasmussen Valley mine will begin reclamation at the end of 2025 where approximately 1000 acres of roads, pits, and other facilities will be shaped into the surrounding topography and revegetated to bring these areas into final closure for long term stability, providing multiple use, and subsequently given back to the landowners.

ABOUT THE PEORIA SYSTEM
The Peoria System allows beginners, hackers, and those with less experience playing golf to have a chance to win a prize. The Peoria System is a sort of 1-day handicapping system for tournaments, and while based in certain parts on luck, the system allows a "handicap allowance" to be determined and then applied to each team's score (and don't worry, we will explain this all again before the start of the scramble).
NOTE: Winners of the scratch category cannot also win the handicapped category.
And it's not about winning (except that is kind of fun)—it's about having fun, networking, and supporting the future generation of mining professionals. So just remember, you don't have to be a good golfer (or even have played before) to have fun—just do it!
