SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Hole sponsorship includes a provided company sponsor sign with the option of setting up a booth at the hole. Sponsors are also encouraged to provide SWAG items for the raffle giveaway.

Proceeds from sponsorships go directly into the SME Boise Section Scholarship Fund. Applications for the scholarship will open this spring and recipients will be awarded at the “Students and Professionals Discussion Panel” this Fall.

SWAG DONATIONS

We are always looking for SWAG items to include in our raffle giveaways during the awards ceremony. So if you or your company has SWAG items you'd like to donate, please bring them with you to the event!

ABOUT THE PEORIA SYSTEM

The Peoria System allows beginners, hackers, and those with less experience playing golf to have a chance to win a prize. The Peoria System is a sort of 1-day handicapping system for tournaments, and while based in certain parts on luck, the system allows a "handicap allowance" to be determined and then applied to each team's score (and don't worry, we will explain this all again before the start of the scramble).

NOTE: Winners of the scratch category cannot also win the handicapped category.

And it's not about winning (except that is kind of fun)—it's about having fun, networking, and supporting the future generation of mining professionals. So just remember, you don't have to be a good golfer (or even have played before) to have fun—just do it!
